Hello to all. We got this D3, its on coils. It's a 1 owner car, and he never put it in low range, and now it will not go into low range. We removed and inspected the control module in the engine bay for water damage, we didn't spot any and so we put it back in. Does it happen that the servo...

To the original poster, was this ever resolved? I got the same error message, solenoid power failure, the other day. I cleared the fault and the car drove normally, but, that doesnt fix the problem. Interested to know if you solved it.

Fog vs spot lights, which is best for the forest?

Hello to all, hope this finds ye well. I do a lot of driving in forests. Looking at the beam types below, it seems to me that the wide beam of the fog light would do a better job at illuminating the forest around me (this image is lifted from the PIAA website) - but what do I know ! P38 transmission cooler relocation

Mine didn't catch fire. Strange that it didn't catch when I ran the blowtorch over it. Chrome it, galvanise it, both interesting suggestions. I did another two hours grinding it flat with a flap disk, so it's further on now. Gonna stick it on the car tomo and see where I'm at.

    P38 transmission cooler relocation

I ran the blowtorch over some transmission fluid, and it didn't catch fire. So I felt safe to cut the transmission cooler lines with a grinder, near the main radiator. I let the lines bleed for a moment to clear away any metal particles. Then I attached the new oil hoses, and refilled the...
