Thank you , Yes it's super strange. Yes I made sure the button was pressed when I put the new one in. It's super strange! And the key fob was ok last time I used it.. the led does show when pressed and new battery was put in for good measure

Ok , In a nutshell... I got stuck last weekend where the car decided to immobilize itself. Had a gent turn up randomly who owned a discovery 2.. he scanned and managed to find the problem. Inertia switch was triggered.. managed to bypass it with a wire, and turn of a key and it started straight...

Hi all, Had some issues with the disco yesterday. Went out to a nearby city, did what we had to go, then went to get in the car and couldn't access it via the central locking key fob. Had this issue before but pressed the inertia switch button in the engine bay and all way fine. Now... Today...

Hope that helps anyone who's had this issue! I ran 1st to seeking a EKA code... But it could be as simple as pressing the black button in the engine bay!!!

I managed to get this sorted.. I was tagged in a post by a friend of mine. Watched this video.. and basically it was the black push button in the engine bay.. press that.. hey presto! The disco was alive!!!!!

Hi all, I've got a issue with my D2. I went out their this morning to use the truck, used the key fob.. nothing... Looked at the fob to see if the red light came up once pressed, it did.. changed the battery in the fob incase, tried again... Nothing..the car just won't unlock via the key fob...

It's fairly new let, had it 7-8 months never had an issue.. just seems to be all of a sudden. I can't turn the key full stop, can't get it to 1st ignition to even take the steering lock off

Hi all, I have a discovery 2 and had a random all of a sudden issue with the key just not turning, and not taking off the steering lock... Bad barrel? Greasing? If it's a new barrel where do I find them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi all, in need of abit of help here ... Drivers front window was working all fine.. had no issues what so ever . Just tried closing it.. got half way up and stopped ....... I'm hearing clicking on the relay, fuse is good... Dead motor? How can I get this bloody window up?
