    Had this not with my p38 diesel but with my MG ZT diesel bmw engine, cause was full pump struggling to lift fuel when ever fuel tank dropped to 1/4 or below, other MG members found tank vent blockage causes same problem as Paul D said earlier

    From what your saying and what I can see from your pictures they maybe held in like rubber mounted windscreens where the rubber has a groove that sits on the metal cutout, to remove would require you to push in one corner of the rubber from the inside to unhook it from metal and slowly work...

    Hi , the rubber should pull off the ali frame once you lift the edge/joint, you can then drill out the rivets. Think a Company called Masai have a how to on their site, maybe even on youtube. Take your time and good luck

    Ok folks, riddle me this, starting procedure prior to putting new air filter (bosch) in was as follows, key in, turn, wait for glow plug indicator to go out, crank for two seconds then switch off and redo sequence engine would then start straight away.
