No not normal at all!!!

Did this yesterday! Just fitted new injector loom and rocker cover gasket! And the assessed the welding required over the next few months! Also got a gearbox to chuck in it as well!! Buy a discovery 2 they said! It will be fun they said!!

I messaged and asked about the Offside one as well and they messaged to say that they will be listed shortly!!

Hi everyone just wanted to make all the discovery 2 owners aware that they've started making inner wing repair panels for the trucks! Which is to much delight for me as I need to do mine and it will save me so much time!! Just thought I'd make other people aware

I've just been having a play with mine and adjusted it up a bit! All my readings seem Fine and it does pull better now but still having flat spots/misfire at 3000 to 3500 rpm going to get a fuel pump as my sender isn't reading correctly anyway!! Hopefully it will cure it

Yes that was running and it's a reliable snap on multi meter that I use most days at work! So I presume that the pump is weak??

I know this is an old post but I've just measured mine and its reading 17.2 could this be the reason mine feel low on power???

I'm having a very similar issue!! But my manifold pressure is reading very low!! Cleaned the map sensor, the truck has egr delete and I have a new maf sensor so I'm leaning towards map sensor for mine!! But I'll be watching this thread as I'm interested to see what you come up with!

So today I finally got around to finishing my range rover 2.7tdv6 which had cambelt tensioner failure and I got fully up and running without having to do a major strip down!! No bent valves just top end damage which I took a gamble on it and its paid off!! So glad to have got it all cleaned up...

So I know it's been a long time since I posted but I've finally got around to sorting the range rover out and I replaced the bent rockers snapped bolts camshafts and obviously oil pump and belts and rebuilt it all up, and it's got compression and started up and runs sweeter than it did before...

So is that a new ecu then?? Or can it get repaired? The car runs fine and has no issues just want it so I can communicate with it! Apparently got a remap on it would that of caused any issues?

Hi sorry its been so long only just got to check the wiring and I can confirm it's got continuity to both pins! So it's obviously something more serious??

Well trust me when I say that the water was leaking from everywhere I completely removed both sunroofs and re-sealed them in as the original seals are rubbish!! I also fixed that drains as 2 had broken, the alpine windows were leaking, the roof bar holes and around the top of the windscreen...

I did have! I also had a pool in the boot and the headliner was a useful overhead shower would of been a great bit of real estate
