Hi,sorry to hear you're having problems,is it diesel or petrol engine? If petrol could just be a bad electrical connection somewhere.More things to check on a diesel.Post your questions on the freelander forum and I'm sure you'll get good advice there,don't despair

They're great for that and gear box and whatever else,,had one about 5 years and done all sorts with it

I wouldn't put them on mine ,always use standard size but purely from a posing view I reckon they're good

Are Are you sure it's to do with actual engine temp and not gearbox oil temp or do you let engine warm up and then try to drive?

Not my landy but just finished rebuilding the bulkhead for 1958 series 2 to go on my mates restoration.Lots of bloody work but worth it in the end! Test fitted and seems spot on,find out when we rebuild.Doh! Wrong place!
