    Yea, I reckon the FIP/chain is shot on mine, cba with replacing the engine for a diesel though when I have a 4.6 that probably needs one already :D Hoping it lasts long enough for me to get the 4.6 running and then it won't matter, haha

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm not sure why a lot of things are how they are on this thing, from previous owner work to LR original! I have new top and bottom hoses ordered for the radiator anyway, should have replaced them when I did the rad but I was in a rush to get a working car sorted :D

    Replacement already ordered, thinking of wrapping it in some aluminium tape or something to deflect heat from the engine and try to stop this one melting :P

    Confirmed this does seem to be the source of restriction, found 2 part numbers for this PHD103330 and ESR2522. I don't know if they're the same, or one is meant to superseded the other? Removed the pipe and ran it up and down the bypasss; Goes all the way through the gears without loosing...

    This one? I've spent about 3 weeks trying to work out what it was/part number. My GoogleFu has finally kicked in and I've found it. Without this one connected it should run normally? The layout is a terrible design as the radiator hose appears to rub a hole in them =\

    I've noticed that the boost gets up to 180kPa before it dies o_O isn't it supposed to only be at 120(1.2bar)? Then when it's hitting the 45mph mark, where it likes to change gear(auto), it just lets go, whitish smoke, no power, boost dropped to less than 95kPa. Any thoughts @wammers?

    @brianp38dse, I've checked all 3 of the pipes and there's no delamination in any of them but they were quite soft. Replaced sbend and elbow. @Grrrrrr, my mistake, it's not the intercooler that is dented, it's the rad in front of it. Haven't flushed it yet, will try and work out a way to do that...

    Just ordered a replacement for that one, the other one I replaced looked like trash especially compared to the replacement. Figure it will be worth getting a new one on that too.

    I tried to have a look at the other hoses this evening. The long one has already been replaced, I think there are two others? Though I'm not sure how to get to them. Will try and work that bit out tomorrow :P

    Hi all, Wall of text incoming but could really do with some help on this! I have a '98(WA) pre EGR diesel. Starts fine hot/cold, not lumpy, idles fine. Drives ok, until there is ANY incline or firm acceleration and any shred of power/speed disappears in the big black cloud of smokescreen that...
