    D2 towbar electrics

There are detailed instructions issued by LR just not very "human friendly" IMO, it needs some skills to figure them out go to "sorted by description" - "towing electrics 13 pin"... download the doc https://smallpdf.com/file#s=75251c92-07bc-48fc-8807-c317626fbba8

Made some research too myself and found WABCO 446 044 031 0 stamped as SRD500070 even though in the wabco catalog link you posted they say that the wabco part number with 031 in it is for all those listed i found that SRD000070 has 446 044 030 0 which seems the one in your picture too but i...

No worries for that... if the fault is still there unchanged with the new ECU means it's not that and more troubleshooting is needed ... did i understand well that you bought a bran' new ECU? ...if yes it might be tricky to make it work without a Testbook or Autologic main dealer's tool cos...

    Td5 late boost

Then you have the answer, untuned D2 can not accelerate well with such huge tyres... i explained this many times https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/speedo-out-of-synch.375403/post-5269337

    Td5 late boost

stationary boost is irrelevant, on stock(untuned) D2 the boost should be 1.3 bar under load... tighten the wastegate to 10 threads left see how it behaves then if it goes to overboost back one thread... i'm asking again, is it manual or automatic? Eu2 or Eu3 engine and what size tyres you have on it

    Td5 late boost

That's valid for 15P, on 10P if it was de-EGRd the MAF's input is irrelevant for engine power issues

    Td5 late boost

Hi, at what rpm do you expect to have max boost though? cos all of them are reaching max boost around that figure ... and how much is that boost on your's? manual or auto?

Is this battery or fuel pump...or what?

here's a more detailed thread about this whole NRV dillema https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/td5-fuel-issues-starting-issues-fix.319376/ so you can decide yourself where to fit it even though it can mess up things only if it's fitted and clogged, as long as it wasnt there it can't cause any...

Is this battery or fuel pump...or what?

IMO nowhere cos as i've said on some early modells it was not fitted at all... my D2 never had one and i dont miss it, quite useless if the FPR and the injector copper washers are faultless... if you dont find it on your vehicle just forget about it

Is this battery or fuel pump...or what?

That 4134 means nothig to me without the description but presuming it's about SVS how did you perform the bypass mod? did you cut and prolonge out the switch pack's wires and removed the plug or spliced into the wires to the plug? also did you check the resistances first? there are wrong...

    Coolant leak overflow

IMO your thermostat is stuck open, that's a symptom of it... replace that first I dont know where my friend bolted it as i didnt ask, we spoke only about the readings but i'll check and tell you though you should compare the sensor's reading with a laser thermometer pointed to it cos it seems...

Fault code 0753 Solenoid 1 valve?

that one is about the engine ECU's black plug - TCM data link which goes through that square grey connector near the ECU, white - yellow wires, eventually give it some contact spray.... nothing to do with the other code

Drove through 2 feet of water, next day, clunking/sputtering when turning left/right slowly?

I'm using THIS for bearings and other rotating parts but you can choose other brand just to be suitable for bearings maybe THIS

Drove through 2 feet of water, next day, clunking/sputtering when turning left/right slowly?

the symptom is quite common on D3's so might be the same, see this: https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic135724.html ... grease up the steering UJ too while you are there btw do a full job and reveal the transmission type too ;)

That's quite OK but it implies to have the battery fully charged all the time which is not the case though if in this status you still had the amigos and M+S lights i'd say there are SLABS and XYZ switch issues(this one used to suffer from te aircon drainage) btw are the battery clamps and main...

Disco 2 Does your Discovery 2 also lower at traffic lights?

Then when it's on even level set it to coils and go for a ride to see if it behaves the same or not cos if it's about a leak it will lower but not rise back, if while it's set to coils it behaves normally and doesnt drop it's certainly not a leak but some strange management issue like when the...
