the viscous fan is removed by a lot of off roaders in the td5 model as the fan blades act as a paddle throwing water onto the ecu box under the bonnet no other reason !!! stick with the viscous fan. the electric Chinese **** will let you down

I did go under the bonnet but never thought to look for a fan that I've never seen removed before The auto box had a complete rebuild only 12000 miles ago how often does the ATF need swapping

Just bought a td5 today after years of 300tdiand 200tdi ownership Got home and the auto temp warning light comes on I've had a quick look and for some reason somebody has removed the viscous fan WHY ???? Any clues from you guys and girls
