Evening all.
Just taking apart the heater blower (guessing the motor is dead ☹️) ready for a clean up and found this inside
Any idea what it is and what it does?
Thank you 👍
To be fair, I looked at the pictures on Richards chassis and the only one with the bracket is the s2 chassis.
The S3 chassis on their site doesn't show it.
But, why did my old chassis have it and why did the new exhaust come with the support to mount to that bracket?! 😁
The Richards series 3 lwb chassis I bought doesn't have the bracket for the intermediate pipe.
However, their series 2 lwb chassis on their website does!
Mine is definitely a S3 (prefix N)
My original chassis, in the photo, did have the bracket.
The exhaust is definitely the correct one for the...
Update:
The new chassis is missing a bracket.
As highlighted on photos of the old chassis
I don't suppose anyone knows if they are available and from where?

Afternoon campers.
Trying to fit a new exhaust to Noel.
It's a ****part exhaust (temporary measure, it was cheap!) fitted on to a Richards galvanized chassis.
Ive worked out the bracket locations for the rear
And middle
But I'm sure there should be something here?
I've got this bracket...
It seems Noel doesn't hate me after all.
Yes, I was made to remove the bulkhead support.
Yes, I had to drill and tap the front stud.
But the awkward ones at the back, I squared up with a grinder, hammered on a small socket and wow! They unwound 😀
When you have worked everything out, can you put up some photos please?
And can you label everything including what colour wire it is.
I've got the same thing to do on Noel with the added benefit of being colour blind 😁🤪🤣
