Anyone recommend someone to tow my 110 from SW London to AJS Tyres in Kingston?

I was thinking more of the inevitable leak past the pistons - he said it had been a while. Of course the master could have failed entirely that might do something similar to this but you'd expect to see a leak somewhere surely on all this that's what puzzles me.

    Brakes

No. Disco 1 for a start can be twin circuit or single circuit for a start... and some are different thicknesses for vented discs... I think they all have the same bracket holes but I stand to be corrected - you can for example fit single circuit Defender calipers for thick vented discs on a none...

    Any advice

Depending on how waterproof they are... I;ve seen people jetwash such things with good results. Obviously if they are actually card that's a bad idea...

unless it's lost so much fluid the master cylinder pistons are uncovered...? I mean I had thought if you filled the reserviour up and drove slow and gentle you would still brake but that's toying with it being an Unroadworthy Vehicle which if you crashed....

    Disco 2 HELP!!

OK you are just past the closure then so that wont worry you. Manifold rattle is a bit more worrisome theres turbo's and all manner of stuff up there that can go wrong.. I suspect it's start looking for things that are broken and when it's cooled strip bits off and poke... about the best I can...

    Disco 2 HELP!!

~ I suspect that you have a disintegrating baffle inside the exhaust someone. Not too up on D2's but I'd start shaking the pipe when it's cold enough or if you have a rag and see if you can find the bit that makes a noise. http://www.4xfortyone.co.uk/ is in Wakefield and close enough by that...

They can still fail on exposed conductors and on being cracked it's just the lamp operation for correct wiring that is checked on a 13 pin in addition.

    Radio suppression

Guys this is MW we are talking about - as noted above it'll probably be a ferrite rod. Fiddling with the external antenna may be pointless. Check first the following. 1. Do you lose of change reception if the external antenna is unplugged (just to check if it is an internal antenna or not) 2...

    Landy owners

It's a state of mind... Just had some random guy stop me at the office and say "I used to have a landrover, I've got something for you" Complete rear mount twin jerry can holder and two nice jerry cans. Free. Just because he knows I'll use it as it was meant to be used and look after it...

20 inch of vacuum is a third of atmospheric - I'm impressed that the wabco pump can generate that much TBH!

    Overheating countermeasures!

Overcooling the engine is bad for it. Also it wont let you - all it will do is run less water through the main radiator if you turn the heater on full inside. The engine is designed to work at it's running temp - that's when all the clearances are correct.

    Overheating countermeasures!

Why are you doing this? Surely fixing the cooling system on the engine is a better idea....

    Running 300tdi without a turbo

That needs to be open to atmosphere to allow for changes in pressure if you take it up any significantly large hills. It probably wont affect matters much in the UK though.
