Disco 2 Fuel Tank Vent Pipe (the one with the curl)

Hmm, that's what I used to clip my fuel lines when I built Project Disco. I can't find any that are the other way up. The only ones I can see on the page I linked to are for brake lines, which are smaller. I'm pretty sure that's what was on the fuel lines when I stripped PD down. My memory isn't...

These are the clips you're looking for.

    Flat Bed Disco 2 Project

So while I'm waiting for a core plug to arrive in the post I thought I'd do a small job I've been meaning to do since Project Disco went back on the road. All the aircon stuff under the bonnet was binned long ago by a previous owner, leaving only the compressor to act as an idler pulley. Today I...

    Disco 2 Catastrophic water leak.

Too late. I already have. That's how I discovered it was missing. Thankfully not far and I don't seem to have done any damage. Thanks very much. I've ordered one. It's just an interference fit then?

Disco 2 Fuel Tank Vent Pipe (the one with the curl)

It should fit onto the filler tube. Perhaps a PO has made a modification? Or maybe you've mistaken it for one of the fuel lines, which are in the same area.

    Disco 2 Catastrophic water leak.

TD5 15P engine. I seem to have lost something from the back of the cylinder head. There's a hole there that water runs out of when I top up the water. How bad is this situation? Can I fix it with the engine in place?

    freelander 1 window problem

If you can burn a CD to use in a Windows computer you will find this very useful: http://www.mydocz.com/Landie/rave2000.iso It's called RAVE, LRs official electronic manual.

The Little Discovery That Could (financially ruin me)

Nice work with the front bumper. Very simple and neat. I like it.

Disco 2 Fuel Tank Vent Pipe (the one with the curl)

It was easy for me to change the whole thing but I don't have the Disco rear body getting in the way. I used clear fuel line which fit the channel nicely.

Disco 2 Fuel Tank Vent Pipe (the one with the curl)

Line isn't pressurised. As the name implies, it vents tank vapours to prevent the tank from pressurising and allows air in to prevent it collapsing as it empties. You can replace it with a rubber/plastic/silicone hose of suitable bore to make a tight fit at the tank connection. I also fitted a...

    Flat Bed Disco 2 Project

I haven't been to the doc for a few years. They still seem to have a mask policy in place at my local health centre. He kept it on all the way from there to his house. I guess some people like wearing them.

    Flat Bed Disco 2 Project

This wasn't quite as much fun. Needed a tractor to get me out. I was giving my local doctor a lift home. Shetland NHS have initiated a "resilience plan" and have enlisted the help of the Land Rover Club members to transport medical staff to and from work where required in remote areas.

Shetland has had quite a bit of snow in the last couple of days so I've been out playing in it.

Disco 1 Lights flickering with indicators when on the brakes

Does the main fuse box have earths to body/chassis/engine? Not familiar with D1 but my old D2 gave me problems with the fuse box/body earth.

The Little Discovery That Could (financially ruin me)

I have some observations about your clutch and brake lines from my own experience of building Project Disco. Feel free to take or leave them. Brake lines: I deleted the body/chassis flexi hoses and ran the rear brake lines all the way along the top of the chassis rail direct to the ABS block...

    Disco 2 Overboosting

Well, I've done the modulator bypass and been for a good thrash and what a difference! It's a completely different animal. Since I finished the rebuild it's always been a bit hesitant when you floor it with occasional lumpiness in the power delivery, which I had always attributed to the turbo...
