if you are looking at the engine from the front, it will be slung low to the right of the crank. Disco PAS pipes would probably work for you, there are so many disco's broken for parts... wouldn't cost much to find out.

the 200tdi runs the steering pump off a vbelt from the front crank damper, check you have the bracket on the engine too...

the going rate for a second hand key at a LR auto jumble is around 20 quid, you can simply change the blade then find someone with a nanocom to program up the guts for you... that's the cheapest option

I would suggest you get a sniff test done, freelander petrol engines like to eat head gaskets, a sniff test will identify if there are any exhaust gasses present in the coolant.

indeed.... actually this is the one, does a whole bunch of other functions too... Madman are on the verge of releasing a new version, I believe will be the same with the addition of a VNT turbo controller, and some other functions...
