    P38A what a pratt !!

By and large yes, but they are much quicker than a V8 when the V8 is sitting with its heads off in your garage.

    Dave Smith's Freelander

OK brains trust. Does anyone know if the engine mountings in my last lot of pictures changed between early and late 1.8 engines? Normally I'd look up part numbers on Allbrit but I don't seem to be able to do that any more. Also, who does the best belts and water pumps nowadays? Going to replace...

    Halfords truck bed liner ine

I tried the Halfords stuff first but after about 30 seconds the nozzel clogged up beyond recovery and I took it back. Looking at your results perhaps I should have persevered.

Does Allbrit not give part numbers any more? What a bummer.

    Dave Smith's Freelander

I'll stick it in the back of the car with a big breaker bar and see if I can do it at work. If it snaps then meh, nothing lost really. The one bolt that is left isn't even tight - I don't know if it was always like that or whether all my efforts and a broken bar have managed a quarter turn.

So... I got the whole thing off but still can't shift the bolt as I don't have a suitable vice (just alcohol and Land Rovers). Other PITA is that the plug cap on cylinder 4 has slightly disintegrated leaving loads of bits of plastic around the plug and wedged at the bottom of the plug well.
