Knackered compressor, couldnt keep up. Picking up a replacement tomorrow, then it's just the door locks and new more powerful bulbs apparently! The smoking is supposedly the fuel pump. .

I'll kick this off. When I bought mine, I tried to move the wing mirrors, but to no avail. On closer inspection, it turns out the previous owner had siliconed in two new pieces of glass. When I asked someone who knew him why he did this, he was apparently fearful of mirrors being stolen!

No probs, thank you :) Just started the beast a second ago, she sounded like she was struggling, then she let out a thunderous noise and a big plume of black smoke. Shut her down and started fine after that. Should I be concerned?

is anyone around this sort of area that wouldn't mind giving me a little help with their EAS unlock? Taking it back to my mechanic tomorrow, would like to be able to drive there! Beer is obviously included...

Ignition wasn't on. The dash lights were a separate issue before the lock issue happened.

Is there an easy way to get to the HEVAC bulbs? I guess I could take off the binnacle again, make sure all the wires are seated firmly in the plug.

When I finally got around to replacing the speedo bulbs, the LCD ones stopped working. The first time, (I replaced every bulb in the speedo) one of the LCD bulbs came on. I took it back out, changed all the LCD bulbs but now none come on, and the HEVAC LCD has switched off. All the other lights...

Hey all, had my p38 for nearly two years and just had my BECM repaired and guaranteed for two years. Just trying to work out the final electrical issues! (And mechanical, obviously)
