Ha! Haven't put my steering column panel back on for two years. Thanks so much, I'll check. At some point I'm going to tear all the windscreen trim off and completely seal all the bulkhead seams up. I hope that will FINALLY fix the sodden carpets. Thanks again.

HI all, have always just put up with this but I'm down to the last few things the soaking carpets could be, and I guess this is one of them. Any idea where air could be forced in at m'way speeds? Completely separate to the hot air coming out of the vents. Thanks!

I do remember you telling me my timing chain could do with being looked at, not looking forward to that, am definitely looking for someone else to do that. On the plus side, new blend motors going in soon! And am doing another autobox oil change tomorrow.

Try a **** load of wd40 and/ or contact cleaner directly into the ignition barrel, has sorted mine many times. If changing the door lock didn't solve it, then prob not that, but ive sprayed that too at times and it's helped. Not a fan of moisture (or old cabling) our p38s. I keep a passive...

I took off all the windscreen trim, new clips from JLR, and sealed every screw hole all the way along the windscreen. Solved mine, I had water coming in for ages in the same place. Now to do the o rings...

I'd go for an EAS cable too if you don't get the nanocom, bloody useful.
