Hi can anyone tell me the size of the brake pipes and fittings i will need to replace the one on my 1991 200tdi and how easy are they to replace :)

i dont think they need changing i just thought it would be easier to do it now then not have to worry about it and there's that many different type of shocks i dont know what type to choose

I have stripped my 90 down to chassis down so just gear box and engine before i start to put it back together should i change all the bushes shocks and springs if yes can anyone advise on best make of shocks and springs. cheers :)

thanks for that i am glad i removed the rear tub as it appears the people i brought it off put a new rear cross member on and wielded it in some places but tacked it in other places so i need to do some repairs.

Hi just changing me bulkhead on my 200tdi then decided may as well take seat box off then thought may as well take rear tub off now left with chasis and engine and gear box, can anyone advise while i have all these parts off what things i should look at /change.. cheers :):)

so decided to change the bulkhead on me defender today as I am new to defenders took me a while to get the wings off only now to find me fooking radiator is rusting away does any one know where's the best / cheapest place to get one from for a 200tdi cheers:(

Hi I am thinking of upgrading my defender seats by either swopping them or I have seen re trim kits just wondering if any one has tried refitting their defender seats or is it easier to buy some second hand seats? Thanks in advance.

Hi just about to change my bulkhead on my defender and have noticed that the original has some sort of heat sheild/ reflector stuck to it on the engine side, the replacement bulkhead does not have any fitted, my question is should i fit some heat sheild if so where can i get it from thanks.

its a 200tdi i think the chap i brought it off was selling a td5 bulkhead as well but when i said my mine was a 200tdi he said i would be better with this one as the td5 would need quite a bit of work to make it fit he also included the wiper motor as well

Thanks for the welcome, I have googled it but been quoted £500+ have been looking at TD5 again quite expensive. New to defenders the one have have brought looked to have good bulkhead probably the excitment didnt notice but after I brought it found rust.
