    Disconnected battery for 15 minutes and still no joy. Disconnected for an extended session, put battery on charge and connected + & - terminals in car together as read that this performed a reset? Connected it all back and nothing. I've read that these bmw immobilisers can be a bit of a nightmare. 🤬

    Hi All Took my 55 plate TD4 for MOT after 6 weeks off road since failing the last one. Fixed everything that it failed on last time. Got a call from the garage to say they abandoned MOT as they think there is an issue with the engine bottom end. Any advice? Thanks.

    More of a weekend job rather than what I've done today.... Resprayed centre console, fitted new stereo, and added a couple of USB ports.

    All sorted. Took switch out, pulled out plunger, put back in & reset - brake lights on permanently, switch off when I press brake pedal! Took out, reset plunger again, all working as normal 👍

    New fuel pump and filter arrived today along with 4 abs switches for my 55 plate TD4. Fuel pump & filter changed, plastic housing fell apart but got to make use of the rivet gun I bought about 10 years ago to put it back together 😆
