Have a look at the wiring into the connector for the CPS. I removed the connector to give me room to change my starter, this caused the wire into the connector to break due to corrosion. I think it caused similar issues to yours apart from the fast idle.

Grrrrr has a Platinum 642X fitted and I followed his recommendation too. Its 120AH and 1000CCA and can crank forever.

What spec pipe did you use?

Managed to get the lower slider out with a set of mole grips working it loose after a soak with Plusgas. Now trying to get carrier frame off as disk is damaged.

I'm with everyone else here. Comfort and price were the deciding factors in purchasing my P38. Having driven military Defenders I knew they were off the table right from the start.

This happened to me. Moved the wire as it was rubbing and ended up needing a new injector. £250 OUCH. I've changed the glow plugs twice on mine, first time without a problem, and I am a disaster area when it comes to diy maintenance.

Its a diesel. As far as I can establish I can feel coolant on the bottom hose. Everything is new water pump, heater pipe O ring, thermostat, housing and bottom hose. I just cannot see where the source is.
