Anyone driving to France, new rules from 1/7/15

The word 'if' was used loosely there I feel. The gendarmes always get snotty with Johnny 'English' foreigner. The bulb thing is a little like the, 'you can drive ****ed in Majorca' just don't have a bump in that state! Don't be put off from driving in France, it's a great experience if you...

Anyone driving to France, new rules from 1/7/15

It's worthwhile remembering, just as in Britain, under the guise of safety, speed cameras are becoming more plentiful. Add to that in France unmarked police camera cars are also there to trap the unwary. The euro might not be working, but the police tax collectors certainly are! Oh, and make...

Most things do. That's why stupid rules are ignored by the French.

It only states spare bulbs should be carried. Doesn't mention for which car! :flame:

Just do as the French do. Ignore! The police have no powers to check your sat nav and, as mentioned above, dangerous zones flag up just in time for you to spot the camera anyway. Breathalyser's, just another money making opportunity for the ferry companies. Not mentioned above though is the...

Just as a post script; ended up not buying a new one but instead put grease amongst and behind the fonts, cleaned the letters with degreaser, masked up and sprayed. Worked a treat!

    Parking Sensor conundrum.

My parallel parking sensors, along with the transporter system doesn't work. I tried the usual, "Beam me up" request and nothing happened. Is it the duff radio fitted into these cars or the, even duffer, speakers that are to blame. I am experiencing sleepless nights over the issues, the...

But its still much higher. I wouldn't be too quick to admit to that DT. Did you not see the study by Oxford university recently which found the car most likely to be driven by a 'Gay' person is in fact the Defender, due to it's butch appearance, I think I drew attention to it in another post...
