    Travelling to France

:)I get to the UK three or four times a year, used to travel from home in South West France via Zebrugge to Hull. It used to be a reasonable fare, return with dinner, breakfast and an outside cabin, around the £400 mark. It's now up to £650 and not worth it. So it's the shorter drive in France...

Started when it was nationalised right through to American ownership, Warren Buffet, it had to be de nationalised as all the loans the R.E.C.s had taken from the government, following the war had been repaid, and at that time non bill payers were cut...

Having been in a position to pose the question of his raid on pension funds in the first year he carried out the theft of 5 billion pounds from said funds, I have to admit Brown gave a good, almost convincing, account of his actions. But agree, no government, whatever it's colour has the nounce...

Falklands, Britain regained its standing in the world. Lower taxes and recently, the best labour budget labour couldn't have got away with delivering. On the other hand, tax credits up from 2million at its labour introduction, to the out of control 30 million it stands at today. Next question?

Right on. From leaving and, bragging about leaving the country skint, to ripping off pension funds to the tune of billions, to selling off the gold at knock down prices, to locking the nation into a bad EU deal. The list is endless. They will never get back in to power again.

Go even further back in history and you will find the bale out of a bankrupt Scotland by England has led to nothing but shoulder chips on behalf of the Scott's. I spent my childhood and working life, certainly the biggest part of it, working in Sheffield. Well aware of northern preferences...

hippo, hippo, who the f**k is hippo?

Here's a post I put on earlier. Hope it helps; The origin of the term 'Hippo' explained:- The real reason, and I got this from the CEO of Landrover following the original launch, was the many "hip hip hip Hoorays" the Freelander got when first rolled out. This sound from the motoring...
