Yep they can be. It's tricky and you need to be careful with the grinder but it can be done. Watch this space for an update and I'll post the pictures up of how I done it. :)

Right managed to get the pics off my phone so this post will update the build to how it sits at the mo. As I prefer the stock chassis look to the bare galv look the chassis was washed in t-wash then treated to a few coats of primer followed by a few coats of frost extreem chassis black paint...

Sorry to hi-jack this thread but was wondering if you could tell me what you had to do to alter the td5 tank to work with the 200tdi? Read that the td5 tank has a pump in the tank where as the 200tdi tank doesnt. Cheers

Ah Yea I can see what you mean, massively different. The setup I was favouring was progressive td5 110 springs in the front (nrc8044,nrc8045) and 90 HD springs at the rear but if disco progressive rear springs will fit and have a nicer spring rate that may be a better option.
