Provided the anchor bracket for the panhard bar is in the original position on the chassis, has there been any major welding in that area and could the bracket been removed/rewelded??? If the answer is no then I would loosen the bolts holding the panhard bar and see if the body settles...

Its more likely to be an Oldsmobile V8 diesel (as some fool made an adaptor kit) which would serve you better as a boat anchor, horrid un-reliable engines....

Will do.. MOT's not due until Feb but having just moved up (still a couple runs to Essex to do...:eek::eek:). Better to find a place, sooner than a last minute panic.

Your already allowed to watch them mot a vehicle, I've tried a council before but the mot inspector was so picky it was a laugh, I'd prefer to use a known sensible MOT Station...
