A bit of advice please. Front offside hub. I have removed everything and undone the wishbone bolt but can't move the knuckle down far enough to remove it from the arm. Does the wish bone need to be removed fully from the car to allow it to drop?. Thanks

Dropped it off at the local LR garage.

If you are too far from the car for the fob to work, put the end of the fob to the side of your temple/head then push the button, it should then work. You are welcome.

We had the same warning lights for the suspension, this may sound silly but check your brake lights are working, blown bulbs can mess with the electronics.

Many thanks for this input, I will take a look at both the filter and the snorkel tomorrow. Failed oil pump was mentioned by the garage, problem I have is that the top end of the engine is in the boot of the motor!. I am not yet ready to give up on it until I know for sure what is wrong.

So my LR3 that has obtained a noisy knocking noise, but still drives and looses the noise around 40 mph, probably has not got a broken crank?.

Looks like I will be sticking with what I have got. I will however need to change the bulb holders as one of them has got very hot at some point of its life.

Looking for recommendations for an LED main beam upgrade kit for my 2007 Freelander. I have had a look and it would appear there are a number of kits from £30 - £130 . Has anyone done this with success and can point me in the right direction please.

SO! . The Disco is no more, it is a deceased Disco. Injectors came back as fine, they did a pressure test and various other things to no avail. They are now thinking possible oil pump which requires engine out body off and another holiday paid for by me for the mechanic and his family. Obviously...
