    If it's on the bump stops it often "goes to sleep". Try jacking it up using the towbar so it's getting close to the normal ride height.

    I've drilled a little hole in the high level brake light shroud so I can see it in the mirror. I did this after carrying out the simple SVS fix as that depends on the brake switch working.
