    P38 prophaft conversion

Certainly is an option just thought I would see if anyone has come across a solution with LR parts as it's easier to replace incase of damage etc

    P38 prophaft conversion

It's only the back that's the issue the front ujs I replaced a while back as they had play in when I bought the RR and I normally crawl under it and grease the ujs every other week and no signs of wear yet

    P38 prophaft conversion

I'm certainly not worried about smoothness, just seems to be the weak point and at least a uj I can grease

    P38 prophaft conversion

It's all in the suspension ,has no body lift at all , and never managed to get one to bind up yet due to angle

    P38 prophaft conversion

The angles aren't extreme certainly won't be enough for them to bind up etc I know wear will be increased etc but want to try and keep it as simple as I can, I did notice that the petrol models don't seem to have the rubber damper joint thingy does anyone know if they are the same length props ?

    P38 prophaft conversion

Problem I have is the rear is longer than the D2 fronts and I need a flange bolts to be right for the transfer case end

    P38 prophaft conversion

My P38 keeps eating the rubber prop joint, has chewed through 4 in a year, I have checked the viscous coupling and it works , the truck is lifted and can only assume that it's eating them as it runs on an angle , has anyone converted one to run a normal prophaft or know what bits are needed to...

Abs fault ( the lemon strikes again)

They are aftermarket sensors but branded ones that are sold in most motor factors etc not the eBay specials, hopefully I will get chance to plug it in today and dig a bit deeper fingers crossed I find something before I reach the ECU o_O

Abs fault ( the lemon strikes again)

    The lemon drives like new

First comment from Alan was about putting it back on air but without throwing a fortune at it finding taller bags and mounting them and going through it too find why it was converted prior to me getting it as I don't know if it was a compressor fault or solenoid fault or something else , and...

    The lemon drives like new

I dare say that I could figure out why mine was on springs when I got it and put it back to original but with the other bits I done I would need to figure out how to keep it the height it's at now or make it taller again which then becomes rather cost and labour intensive

    The lemon drives like new

Not on my rr but yer I have changed plenty of broken springs but plenty of burst airbags too , just prefer the simplicity side of it no compressor no sensors no airlines and no wiring to worry about

    The lemon drives like new

It's already taller than the access height that they should go
