my mate has a Ford Transit, he's just changed to fully synthetic, and he's raving about it. he says there is a noticable difference. if you have a tdi, then it can be more demanding on the oil as turbos get extremely hot if they are worked hard.

I would say "go for it" I'm sure you will notice the difference and a beafier motor makes a much better driving experience.

Nice one, thanks ratty. Mine is a 300tdi Disco, ES model I think it was a demo Landy as it has all the gubbings electric everything and air con, front and back.

Just wondered if anyone might know anything about Landies with a "Special vehicles" tag rivetted to the engine-bay cross-member. cheers
