Best Plugs for Thor on LPG

It's a multipoint VSI system. I just spent £40 on these brisk plugs goes like stink on petrol but very lethargic on LPG. Getting fed up after forking out over £2k for apparently the best system available and nearly 6 months later still not running properly on gas! Can anyone confirm the...

Best Plugs for Thor on LPG

From what research I've done will run well on platinum but the plugs won't last. What sort of life expectancy of platinum plugs do you expect? I'm assuming NGK started making LPG plugs from silver for a reason or maybe it's just a case of profiteering!

Best Plugs for Thor on LPG

Evening all, I have been having some what of a mare with my 4.6 Thor after paying over £2k to have a top of the range Prins LPG system fitted. Was fitted over 5 months ago and has been back to the "approved installer" four times due to poor economy and performance. I've owned a classic with a...

    P38A Retrofitting TV into a 2001 P38A

I'll try and post the link later but I have seen an adaptor that pairs off the sat nav feed I think and gives you lines for a VGA input that you can wire into a Digital TV receiver and an aerial that shows on the stock screen. I have sourced the TV unit box of tricks from a 2001 BMW E39 and as...

    P38A Retrofitting TV into a 2001 P38A

Hi, I am looking to retrofit TV into my 30th anniversary 4.6 2001, just on the sat nav screen. I have replaced my sat nav unit with one from a BMW E39 and its a direct fit except it doesnt have the off road maps. But seems as though the electrical systems are the same as many E39's it would...

P38 on springs- Poor ride quality!

Just a little update as I know ice read countless threads that never end with an actual solution to the initial issue! I am planning on going back to airbags in the not too distant future. But for the minute the ride quality has been sorted with the same set up. All I did was take all the...

P38A BACK ON AIR - WHATS RQD?

Just a quick update. Everything bar the bags seems present and correct. I have removed the compressor and bench tested it using Wammers guide, many thanks, and seems to be running well and kicking out plenty of puff. P38A BACK ON AIR - WHATS RQD?

Ok Good stuff, sounds promising, thanks. Hopefully £300 a days work and fingers crossed will be back to how it was designed. I just need to read up and understand the system now. I've seen 4 bags on Island 4x4 around £180 plus VAT. Are they're any particular bags I should go for or not?

P38A BACK ON AIR - WHATS RQD?

The EAS box is still there luckily. Where would I find the EAS ecu? Also if I take the plunge, refurb the valve block, pump and fit all the airbags. Only at this stage will I find out what/if there's a problem. Will I be able to drive the car or is it a no no if the bags won't inflate?
