My small leak turned into a huge one, was a paper gasket apparently, garage had to take the transfer box off it to replace it.

Do you have access to diagnostics anywhere? Without it it's just guess work which can get expensive. Was it running well despite the lack of power?

I’ve not really looked to be honest but what should the MAF be reading? I have a nanocom, not looked at the MAF readings yet as there are other issues to sort.

Mine seems fixed at about 23 mpg, best so far 23.8. Plan to look at the MAF once the manifold is sorted.

Sounds a lot like when my injector loom failed. When it missed you could turn it off and on again and all would be fine.

Basically what I said. And if they are old regardless of how they look now they may well be past their safe life anyway. Check for a date on them.

I fitted 245/75/16, needed a very slight trim to the innermost lip of the rear arch but that was it. It did make a difference to its performance, you’d probably want to look at different ratios to suit and I think you’ll need to cut quite a bit assuming you do use it off tarmac.
