Those aren’t seats, they are storage cubbys. It may have had 7 seats but someone swapped them for the cubbys. If the air suspension has been removed then it wouldn’t be type approved as a 7 seater from memory.

With that MOT fail you should be in a strong position to say you no longer want the car.

MPG isn’t a huge concern, I’ll have a 9 mile each way commute when I’m back in the office compared to my previous 22, we have another car for other duties so I can pick and choose how many miles it will do.

Sorry, should have updated this sooner. The D1 sold a while ago and the D2 a bit after so have no Landy at the moment. Hopefully won’t be too long of a break but for now a 1.0 Focus isn’t going to help much here

Does the defender suffer the same issue as the D2? The wiring mod fixed mine, bought new pre wired switches so it was really easy to do, comes with a new pair of plugs to connect the mod so it looks factory and no fuss if you ever need to remove the whole thing.

Excellent thanks. New car doesn’t come for a few weeks so I’ll look into it. Tough having to part with it after having an LR for so long, could park it up until I’m ready to play again but the money would be more useful elsewhere.
