I believe the nanocom was showing misfire faults now I think about it. I could reach about 40mph if I was careful, we avoided major roads and went through towns the whole way home. Out other car didn’t show any faults on a generic reader, with a Ford specific one it did show low due pressure. Was a bit slow to start when cold but otherwise driven normally you wouldn’t notice.

Fuel filter might be a good place to start? Know little about the L322 but have had similar on another car.

It has been done. I was quite interested in putting a D2 body on my D1, couldn’t find anyone with the appetite to do it though!

I probably could stretch to a facelift but would have nothing left. Ideally I’d like a really early one but it seems the bmw engines are best avoided. Only avoiding diesel due to ULEZ and potential turbo issues etc

D1 was an Argyll, should definitely have fixed and kept that. D2 was an ES Premium, sold that for the right reasons at the time but still miss it.

Odd that it’s still covered in snow for the duration of both MOT’s preventing much of the underside being seen. Very inconvenient for the tester.

Let’s hope not. Hopefully he sees this as useful advice from people trying to ensure he doesn’t end up in a financial black hole not anyone having a go. I do miss my D2, find a good one and they’re a very handy thing to have around.

I ran Kumho MT51’s for laning, even they were probably more than I needed but were good all rounders. Big tyres can make big holes in lanes if not used responsibly. If you need those tyres for a lane you probably shouldn’t be on it, it’ll get damaged and join the long list of closed lanes.

Seems the terrafirma steels may fit the SC, would be handy as there are many more of those around.

Will all by myself where physically capable, have a cousin at a local garage that can help when I’m not. I’ll order a gap tool the day I commit to a car.

Depends what you buy. They sell OEM and they sell cheap tat. Buy the cheap tat and complain it’s cheap tat or buy their OEM products and celebrate the quality. I replaced all the suspension on my D1 with OEM for less than £200 and it was spot on. I bout their cheap indicator lenses and they were...
