Wasn’t there a post about this the other day? From memory wiring was suggested. I do partly recall someone mentioning there is a temperature sensor that would prevent it from shifting up when cold but I can’t be certain of that, might be worth doing some searching about but equally it may not...

Erm a dremel was the main culprit from memory! Took it off to gain some approach angle, kind of wish I hadn’t as in hindsight I didn’t really need it. Classic case of first time off road so I need everything the shops tell me I need to do it.

I don’t get the obsession with chequer plate to be honest, don’t think it needs any. I’m sure the 33’s are the only reason it’s slow off the mark, they aren’t exactly sprightly on standard wheels and tyres.

Mine had a tuning box on it, I’m not sure the auto box really understood where the power was coming from but it did go really well. Minus the box it is really slow unless you really ask it then it’s just quite slow!

Was less than £300 from memory, I know I was pleasantly surprised as I too was expecting to be needing a new box.

Mine dumped buckets of atf everywhere. Turned out to just be a (paper?) seal. Was done at a local transmission specialist that seemed to know the D2’s pretty well. There’s also the cost of replacing it for something that would do the same to consider. D3/D4 and all the RR’s have their issues so...

It’s a shame as the interior is great and other than me scuffing the front wing in Wales it still looks pretty tidy too. I’m hopeful someone will put it back on the road rather than break it.
