    Done me some swimmin

He has no inner wings! Not that you can see it from the video. And i would argue that the filter on the wing and an ability to closely monitor it is more sensible in this instance.

Wanted, size 6 black army type boots

That's the weight of a dry boot... and the defender will take longer to dry out... a lot longer. 100g is a considerable amount on your feet- I'm not suggesting she would do a 40 mile tab... the police don't tend to advance to battle. However she might be required to sprint... or do a mile or so...

Because they are one of the heaviest boots in the Altberg range... for females and blokes who are required to run in boots the sneaker, tabbing, desert microlite or jungle are far better. The MOD Defender is massed produced, all other Altbergs are hand made in Richmond. Kindest regards

You want black Altberg sneakers. Non gortex so they dry quick. Really lightweight. Good for dapping about in!

    Radius arm bush replacement cost

I rebushed all of mine with out a press, it was a PITA. Took ages. £200 Is only three or four hours Labour, if they encountered difficulties you can understand it. That's 3 hours when blokey can't be doing anything else.

Opinions from ex military Landy owners please

Definitely do it. Land rovers are incredibly simple and easy to improve. If in time you want to, putting a 300tdi is straightforward. Re chassising it also wouldn't be a massive issue. As for dented panels... don't worry about them. What was wrong with the fan?

    My RC Defender 90 :)

That's incredibly cool and very torquey! You need bigger tyres!!
  13. Pillar

Hey All in the lz, tire preference?

Bear town tyres. £70 a corner for what look not dissimilar to BFG MT. 265 75 16. Work well on an off road. Also do a similar pattern to Special Tracks for the same price and size. They also do them on offset or standard modular wheels.

Replace 2 front doors for 110/Defender

https://www.sp-4x4.com/DEFENDER_SERIES_DOOR_CONVERSION_p/defconv1.htm This has always struck me as cost effective. It's certainly what I will do when the time is right.

    Propshaft Catching Bolts

New prop is on. Looks to be miles away from the bolt... will continue to monitor it closely... will Jack up the front end next time I'm home and ensure its not catching when articulated.

    Propshaft Catching Bolts

The fact that it's only just catching makes me feel slightly better! I'm hoping the end of that bolt can be cleaned up so I can get a new nut on it.

    Propshaft Catching Bolts

No standard height Do you think? I hope so... I hope it's as simple as putting a new prop on!
  18. Pillar

    Propshaft Catching Bolts

Nope. It was the original prop. I've put brand new suspension components on when I rechassised it but nothing else has changed. I'm hoping that when the UJ **** itself it had more flex and then started to catch??

    Propshaft Catching Bolts

Existing- they are the ones on the transfer box end that can't be removed without taking off the flange. PSB
