    110 300Tdi fuel tank outlet

i'll take a look. the big issue is with access to the top pickup to remove it and drill it, i guess you need to drop the tank somewhat as there is no hatch in the tub to access it.

    110 300Tdi fuel tank outlet

i'll do a search, the heater came with a pickup but i'd need to drill a hole in the tank or in the fuel pickup at the top of the tank to fit the pickup

Hi there, looking to fit a diesel heater and need to a take a feed from the main tank, yes i could t-piece it but is the pipe shown circled in blue on the picture below a take-off, say for an optional heater, or is it a breather. it appears to be blanked off on mine and all the spares...

Defender 300tdi rear diff oil leak

Hi there, i've got a bit of a leak from the rear diff on my 1997 Defender 110 300tdi and would like the replace the seal. is this a straightforward DIY job on the drive or more of a specialist job. Also do people normally just change the seal or change the flange as well? i've seen this kit...

    A frame Ball joint

I don't think mine is knackered though i haven't tested it fully, i did get lots of clanks from the rear end when travelling, turns out it was the hinged rear spare wheel carrier, strip down and new washers fixed that and it sounds a 100% better now, like a new car (well nearly!!) but i will test...

    Fitting a snorkel

Ah i see, i'm glad its not just me that thinks this. i'm also going to change the airfilter to a standard one and see if that makes a difference. i'm not dissatisfied with it at all and to be honest if it gives a bit more mpg as i'm driving it more sensibly then thats a win win in my book cheers

    Fitting a snorkel

One thing i've noticed , and it might just be me, is that before i fitted the snorkel i would get quite a bit of black smoke from the exhaust, particularly when clogging it, suggesting running a bit over fuelled, since fitting the snorkel this seems to have got much less but the engine doesn't...

air filter - K&N or standard??

Hi there, have bought a 300tdi service kit which includes an air filter so went to check how to change it today and found its got a K&N already, which probably needs a clean anyway , so not sure whether to stick with it or put the stock one back in. as far as i can tell everything on the engine...

    Fitting a snorkel

i found this, but its on the air filter lid at the bottom, i assume as a one way valve to let water out.
