[QUOTE="Nodge68, . The fueling modifications done by coding are literally miniscule, basically it's for emissions cleanliness only. Could it be that these very small adjustments are only on idle - therefore consistent with your symptoms?

On the hawkeye under maintenance there is a routine for coding a new injector to the ECU - could the ECU be remembering a code for a duff injector in the past?

Freelander 2 (LR2) Removing the Swirl Flaps - What's best?

If the swirl flap rod is removed from the inlet manifold - two questions..... Are there any bearings carrying the rod which could now slip out and get ingested? if so should not they be removed? Do the resultant holes between inlet ports make any difference at all?

That's good - it will remove the possibility of a shortened con rod from previous grief. I did a lot of miles towing trailer loads of junk for a mate of mine when he moved using his BMW which had swallowed some water in a flood and had one pot slightly down on compression - it would start on...

Any thoughts from yous yins as to whats good and whats not in the FL2 TD4 Timing belt kit inc water pump stakes? Gates at circa £85 seems to be fairly popular and well priced - Dayco can be a little cheaper but more folk seem to favour Gates. What do you think? The car's done 97K miles and is 10...

    Why the difference in performance

Yeah - I did the same to achieve similar numbers to yours when the MAF was unplugged. - but now I get lower fuel pressure - about 105000kpa - in the same situation but speed is about the same When My MAF was unplugged I got P0100 - Air Flow Meter, and P0110 Air temp out of range - and an engine...
