    Error code P0183

about 2000 miles ago and it was a correct one - not the aftermarket stuff - should be fine.

    Error code P0183

Recently my 2010 F2 TD4 Aoto became distinctly sluggish off the mark and although fairly usable in light throttle opening is now definately down on power when you boot it. No warning lights and the only error code Hawkeye reports is P0183 - Fuel Temp A circuit High input - and that can't be...

    Michelin Latitude Tour HP 225 55 R17 101H

Having had to buy a set of matched tyres because I lost one, my spare was no good, and I could not find any Latitude Tours anywhere, I now have two excellent Latitude Tours to dispose of. If you're looking for a pair to match up a set on your Freelander search Ebay for them as I put them up...

Damaged tyre - spoiled a set - Grrrr

Yeah - thought I'd try here first - last time I did Teddywood1 came up with a nearly brand new pair and I passed on an excellent Michelin Synchrone to someone else to solve his problem ;)

Damaged tyre - spoiled a set - Grrrr

2014 - but it was a nice sound matched set with plenty of tread and no visible wear or degradation - didn't envisage buying a replacement set for a while - don't do many miles any more

Damaged tyre - spoiled a set - Grrrr

A bit of cracking on the tread following a surprise runflat after I didn't tighten up my tyre pressure sensor enough after changing the battery - :(

Damaged tyre - spoiled a set - Grrrr

I have a nice matched set of Michelin Latitude Tour HP 225 55 101H extra load tyres - and I have just damaged one. They seem to have been superceded by other styles and I know from previous experience that different Michelin styles in the same size can have different rolling radii - not good for...

Cannot open front passenger door from inside

Mine is similar but if I click the fob several times it works - opens ok from inside

    Freelander 2 57 plate

I think they charge on the car - so perhaps by using that one for a bit may perk it up a bit

Oil leak from rear diff breather

But more than that - different makes and models of tyres have different rolling radii - a simple way of checking what's happening on your vehicle is to mark all wheels with a chalk mark on the tyre and the spat - drive circa 20m in a straight line and you will see significant differences between...

What have you done to your Freelander today

Went Sledging - couldn't resist it - 6" of powder snow on a frozen hard field at my disposal. Got out the FL2 first - felt totally capable even on slight hillstarts - tried to compare the normal setting and the snow setting - did not notice much difference - if anything it steered better in deep...

    bearmach hawkeye ba5068????

I have one - it's pretty good for My 05 TD4 Auto HSE - with extra dongle etc it's pretty comprehensive- google the Bearmach manual and see the menus to form a good view of what is covered for yourself - I can't comment versus other alternatives but I'm happy with mine

    Freelander 2 (LR2) FL2 Rear Diff Seizure.

Having that Gen 4 Haldex makes routine servicing much easier - you can just "kiss" the edge of the prop boss with a grinder and then slip the haldex out without removing the prop

    Freelander 2 (LR2) FL2 Rear Diff Seizure.

At this point looking at the oil stains and the breather pipes it looks like it blew out the remaining oil as a cloud of mist

Freelander 1 OUCH, Vehicle tax reminder

    - meanwhile they are now telling - as I have an oilfired CH boiler - that I should burn oil instead of using my woodburner - The firewood industry puts a bottom in the forestry business and saves the need to extract oil - these environmentalists never look at things in the round.

Freelander 1 Brake light switch woes, blowing fuse

You've probably sussed this already but just in case - when you mention some difficulty fitting or removing brake light switches - if you remember to push down the pedal by hand the bayonet fitting pops straight in and out easily - if you don't its very difficult to do it without some damage.

    Freelander 2 (LR2) FL2 Rear Diff Seizure.

Yes but think about it - it wouldn't cause a sieze-up would it - just like Nodge says - similar behavior to a tight VCU

What have you done to your Freelander today

I think earlier you said that your diff was noisy - perhaps this is a wake-up call for others - it could be a pre-indicator of the danger - after all there are many vehicles out their well into their second hundred thousands - but if it gets noisy - ACT I guess?

What have you done to your Freelander today

Cheer up mate - the rear brakes needed doing anyway and you said you were going to rebuilt your Diff - it's just much nicer when you call the shots instead of the bloomin' car :p:)

Everything JLR SDD related (feel free to add experiences/help).

Right - I plugged it in - ignition on - battery bypass checked - read VIN - up it came - then got cold feet and came off to look for some sort of instructions before I start jabbing buttons :(
