Sorry Rob but why over complicate with other versions - I would worry about my paintwork trying to control a 1.9M bar sideways - but find it no bother to do both the 5Kfg and 8Kg with the 1.2M tube I knocked up for the purpose - and the two tests tell you slightly different things - see above...

It's not difficult to do both 5Kg and 8kg at 1.2M - you can then compare with all the realistic guys who have done it conscientiously and reported their results. (I got a Hippo Cookie (;-)) )

Make sure the crankcase breather filter has been changed recently - that's cheap and should be done anyway - on my car there was engine oil oozing out of both ends when I got it and mucking up the driveway - changed the filter and after a while it's virtually dry and no longer drips.

Well - changed the battery - it was 2.9v - replacement read 3.2v so that's probably it - it was intermittent so we shall see - just puzzled why the symptoms were different last time - maybe something else was going on then Cheers
