Pleased to report that car flew through Mot with no mention of decat or egr delete.

I think it's down to individual testers and how much they look hoping they might get some work. Be interesting to see how many people get egr deletes picked up at mot time.

Injector seals I reckon. Sounds similar to my experience with worn seals. A cheap and relatively easy fix.

An update on this thread. Just back from mot and car flew through. No mention of cat missing or egr delete (although my recent mod makes it look at a glance like nothings missing when engine cover in place,see photo). I think it's going to be down to individual mot tester on how everybody fairs...

I'll give it a try if I can't find the loom where it broke from. Should make it easier to trace now I now where the start point is. Mot tomorrow so see if de cat and EGR delete pass. I have a special trick to hopefully fool tester so will have a look at loom tomorrow if car passes. Cheers for info.

Tow bar cover is cosmetic, doesn't need to be dismantled to gain access. Just like a boot mounted spare wheel under a false floor. Easily lifted or popped out to gain access by user/owner.
