Why not buy mine. 2002 td5 gs. 119k. No rust, solid chassis. 2nd owner from new. Very well maintained. Excellent condition all round. Only every failed 1 mot and that was before i owned it. Just bought a Freelander 2 so Disco has to go ☹️

Discovery 2 - TD5 Electrical clips (for holding connectors)

Same thing happened to mine when changing fuel filter. Searched for ages but couldn't find it so just refitted connector without clip. It stays in place fine. About 18months later my son found it on the drive so I refitted then, lol. You might find it at a later date too.

Freelander 2 (LR2) First post on FL2 section

Hi peoples. After owning a disco 2 for the past 5 years I've gone out and bought a Freelander 2, GS, 2007, fsh, one owner from new with 95k miles. My question is as I already have a Nanocom would you lot recommend a new fault code reader or pay for the unlock code for the Nanocom and use that...

Disco 4 (LR4) and its (my!) limitations

Wet grass is often called green ice. I've been unable to get up a wet grassy hill before just as a series 1 with mud terrain tyres and a kitted out defender 90 couldn't either. The #d@*er in a lighter suzuki jimny flew up the same hill.

    Wanted defender 90

Kind of given up looking as haven't been able to find anything for a sensible price in decent condition. Decided to keep the Discovery and spend some money on tidying it up a bit and giving it a big overhaul. However if something decent comes along I'd consider it. Send me some pics and details.

    Disco 2 LOF POWERslave

I've just bought a lof clutch, single mass flywheel, rear crank seal and powerslave cylinder. Not fitted yet but bloody wheel hope they all make a difference. Currently car shudders from cold on bite when pulling away and gear changes and is really awful to drive until its been driven for a bit...

Buy mine, lol. 2002 GS. 117k miles. 2nd owner from new. Well maintained. Good all round condition and chassis never needed any welding. Full supplying dealer service history up to 82k. Owned by me for past 5 years. Be selling soon hopefully as buying a Defender, hopefully.

    Wanted defender 90

Hi everyone, I'm currently looking for a Defender 90 to replace my 02 discovery 2 td5. Nothing wrong with my disco but always wanted a Defender and have now got a budget of £9500 to spend on a 90. Must be in good condition all around as will be the new family car for many years. Must have rear...

Disco 2 Can't Remove Security Nut

Or order a new security socket and wait fir it to arrive. That way you still keep locking nuts on the car. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272288174684

Disco 2 Can't Remove Security Nut

Mines the same. I still haven't got around to ordering a new one even though they're only £15 on fleabay. Last time i used it i just gave it a few gentle taps around the outside to close it up a bit and then put a jubilee clip on to hold it closed and stop opening up again. Its worked so far...

Discovery 2 rear fog light switch internal wiring info.

Many thanks for your and discool's help. The relays coil is 12v, there were various options to choose for coil voltage, I think the picture is a generic one.

Discovery 2 rear fog light switch internal wiring info.

I'm intending to use one of these relays, probably to trigger a second relay. So as long as I can find how the internals of the switch are configured I'll be able to get it working one way or another. Thought I ask in the hope someone might have a diagram of the internal configuration rather...

Discovery 2 rear fog light switch internal wiring info.

Hi all. Don't know if anyone will be able to help but I'm trying to find an internal wiring diagram for a discovery 2 rear fog light switch. Been trawling the interweb and all I've been able to find is a diagram for the front fog light switch, and knowing LR they're probably totally different...

    Tow bar for cycle rack

Slightly different Discovery and slightly different type of bike but principle is the same. Bought one of these carriers and also use it to carry 2 adult mountain bikes with ease as its adjustable. Carry arms just slot in to main body and can be removed to store when not used. Pretty sure it...
