If the crank was not broken before you took injectors out, what is the chance it is broken now? never good but I would try and start it with a bit of easy start, if it runs then stops when easy start is gone then it is not the engine but the injectors or the injectors not being told to fire

that's what I thought problem was bur with van hooked up as well battery 13.2v when turning engine over

that is what I thought so even with battery good and turning over well tried using jump leads from van and still would not go, I will check battery terminals thanks Ian

Hi all have a problem with starting, starter motor turns engine at a good speed but not starting, not trying to start, tried with jump leads to give more volts as volts dropping to about 10.2v when engine being turned, starts straight away with tow, purged the diesel , pump running okay seems...

Two things might not be related, might not be starting because of air in system, has it run since the pipe changed? when mine run out of fuel had to purge it about 4 times before it would go

Why drop the tank, there is a cover in the boot that allows you to get the pump out and also lets you get to the pipes?

I think it would be in order to question the old owner, a low mileage and missing MOT history I would want to know a bit more, it said yes plate change, is it on PP's? might be a mess up when plates where changed?

might be it has been out of the country lots here still on UK plates and then gone back to the UK, You can get a French CT (mot) on a car with UK plates
