    l322 air susp fault?

My air suspension had the same fault but on mine the back end dropped so looks like I need to replace the valve block for the rear. If I leave it over night it sorts itself out so think the piston is sticking open in the block. As for the rad thing I have learnt something new today.

Anyone know what this plug is for?

Cheers for that ill have to have a look and see. I don't think it will be from the head unit though as that's just a screen. All the real brains are on the boot behind the left panel. If it's got speaker wires and power I'm still thinking it's probably some sort of phone kit. I might have a...

    l322 air susp fault?

Fingers crossed it was just a one off then. I would recommend getting yourself the RSW AllComms thought. I got myself one and bought a cheap net book from EBay for £30 quid. It's a great bit of kit and you can see where the faults are if any.

    l322 air susp fault?

Don't like the sound of that much! Has it happened again since? It might have a fault stored if you can get it plugged in somewhere?

Anyone know what this plug is for?

Everything seems to be working as it should? Well apart from the rediclous battery drain that I'm trying to find. Maybe my car had a phone kit fitted previously and it's been removed by the last owner and replaced with a ****ty parrot.

Anyone know what this plug is for?

I've been fiddling around by the final stage resistor this morning unplugging it to try and cure a pants case of battery drain. While I was down there I noticed there was a big plug above the pedals which isn't connected to anything.....

    Nothing is ever simple!!!

Sure the unit itself cost me £240 and as I'm lazy and couldn't be bothered to download the software update and nav info I paid another £25 to a guy on eBay who sent me 2 discs. One for software update to enable split screed and 3d view (and to remove the BMW logo) and the second disc is a 2013...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Kicked and shouted at it! Went out this morning to pop to the shops and the battery was dead! I've been doing 40-50 miles a day all week so have no idea what that was all about. RAC man came and jumped it as my boater was flat as well and he did a battery check and said its fine, no dead cells...

    Nothing is ever simple!!!

It's all good. I found my old disk and that works fine so ill see if I can pick up a more up to date disk on the web. Thanks for your input chaps! Saves me going back to the guy on eBay and making myself look like a tit!

    Nothing is ever simple!!!

I have put a DVD in it that I bought but now you mention it that might not be working. If it was the GPS signal would it say no signal?

    Nothing is ever simple!!!

Bought a MK4 DVD unit off a guy today and he assures me it's in full working order etc.... Put it in my car and it all works and comes on great but the GPS just says waiting all the time! I plug my old unit in and get the GPS and map etc. Me thinks it's not working as well as he said it was!

    EAS Issues

Just spoke to my local dealer. The valve block is £449 inc VAT so ill deffo be looking to repair it. As for the jacking up the put the car into its offroad / Highest position and the jacked under the seal at the jacking point. I did say I'd get the manual out but they assured me this was the...

    EAS Issues

Its not just one corner its the whole rear end. The compressor is giving out good pressure although ive not put a gauge on it but I'll be changing the piston seal anyway. If it were the exhaust valve would I be able to hear it letting off? I'll def be looking to repair the unit rather than...

    EAS Issues

This is true. I'm tempted to get a second hand unit from a breakers and play with that one or rebuild it rather than take mine off. If it goes wrong ill be without the car and I need it. Going to call my local dealer Monday and get a quote on a replacement. I won't be buying one but would like...
