    Project 1989 90 (Bruce)

Looking good bud. Have been thinking of making a wheel carrier myself as I have all the tubing already here. How have you done the hinged sections - have you put any bushes or anything inside the tubes??

    Brake problems?

Have not touched them at all for ages. Surely there should be no air in them if I have not done anything to them, or is it possible that there could be air in there somehow??

    Brake problems?

Would this be a front or rear wheel bearing or could it be either??

    Brake problems?

If I do not use them for a while then I will have to pump them before they work. If I use them regularly then they seem to work ok. If for example I am going down a big hill and keep slight pressure on the pedal all the way down then they continue to work ok.

    Brake problems?

After some advice (again) please chaps. My brakes seem to be losing pressure whilst driving and usually when I press the brake pedal it goes almost to the floor and does nothing and takes two or three pumps before they start to work again. If I pump it all the way down twice on the third pump...

Can i stop the headlights coming on with the side lights??

Probably twin filament bulbs in your headlights. First click of the switch is sidelights and second flick of the switch is full headlights. You can change them to single filament bulbs so only the little sidelights come on and not your main headlights.

    Help TD4 Problem

This is usually what happens right before the doors fall off. Put some gaffa tape on them and climb in through the window and see if the problem is still there.

    Work light

It just looks like a standard car headlight bulb so I could try a 12v one in there, but was unsure whether anything else inside it needed changing. Will try it and see what happens. Dont want to get another one as I really like the look of this one and have no idea where they can be bought.

    Work light

Will a 24v light work on my 12v battery? Is there any consequences to doing this or will it just not be as bright as it should??

FAO Ratty (or anyone else that knows)

Thanks. How do they fit in? I presume that they dont use the original frame that the sliding windows use? And mine is a 90 so 88 hard top panels wont fit will they?? Maybe I will keep my eye open on Ebay for some 90 hard top panels to pop up or try and get some Ali sheet and make my own.

FAO Ratty (or anyone else that knows)

So they would have come standard then? Do they just fit in the frame that is used by the sliding windows or are they attached differently? Cant quite work them out from any of the pics and cant seem to find any other pics of other landies with them.

FAO Ratty (or anyone else that knows)

Can you tell me please whether the panels you have replacing your rear side windows are an item that can be bought from somewhere or did you have them custom made?? Want to get rid of my sliding windows but cant be bothered to replace the whole side panels. Cheers

    Numax CXV31MF

I think thats the general rule for leisure batteries but these ones claim to be good for deep cycle and starting. They are dual purpose apparently.
