    I Must Say

Got to agree with you there mate. I had read loads of people saying that they were hideous on the road and some even saying they were dangerous in the wet, but I have been very impressed with mine. I dont drive slowly and have never once felt out of control with them on. In fact, mine used to...

    Unleaded in my 300 TDi

    Unleaded in my 300 TDi

I have about 70 litres of mixed diesel/unleaded (probably 80% petrol) from me filling my wifes car up with the wrong fuel  Would it be ok to chuck it into my landy in small quantities mixed with my diesel to use it up as its a lot of money to throw down the drain. Cheers.

    Sluggish disco.........not any more!

Thanks Mark. I have blasted a load of WD40 on the pin which seems to have done the job for now. Think I will give it a few more days and spray a bit more in there just to make sure it is fully freed up.

    Sluggish disco.........not any more!

    Sluggish disco.........not any more!

Breather?? Where is that too?? Also, I have got it apart at the moment and noticed that the little pin which sits against the shaft (fuel pin??) is stuck and not moving. Should this move when the throttle cable is pulled in and out??

    Sluggish disco.........not any more!

Has anybody made a gasket to seal the faces of the pump body to the cap, as I am having loads of problems with mine. I get her running sweet for a while, but every time I drive through any sort of water or mud my performance starts dropping off again. When I take the pump back apart the inside...

    Starter motor solenoid bypass

Still having problems here guys. Anyone help?? Took the starter off today and tried it while off the car. When I put a power wire from the battery to the small plug on the solenoid (the one the spade connector connects to) the solenoid fires the little gear forward fine every time. If I...

    Starter motor solenoid bypass

I cant see whats wrong with it to be honest. I took the solenoid apart the other day which was a little rusty and dirty inside so I cleaned it up a bit and put a smear of grease on it but it is still exactly the same. I have no idea how they work though or what I am looking for which dont...
