Still about :) Absolutely, 2017 build and model year. 2018 provided new lights (front and rear), bonnet, bumpers, bigger seats, new door cards, new electronic dash and touch screens, a 2.0 petrol based hybrid, reassessment of mpg and CO2 figures (they are now worse), lots of minor tweeks. And...

I know exactly what you're getting at but, to be fair, I'm not sure when they did last build one to last :(

Someone I was talking to when I first got a L405, in a surprise move, went and traded his SDV6 for an X5 50d (I love the badge on the boot that says “50d”, don’t the Germans realise?). How do you think he’ll be getting on with it after the Fatty? He went quiet when I asked him recently.
