I have just checked the Foxwell site for the NT530 and it does have software for Citroens. Looking at the coverage here; it looks at if the C3 Pluriel is covered. Are you sure it is not available on the 520?

I think Foxwell are primarily focused on the American market where Citroen do not have a presence. However, they are a Chinese company and Citroen sales in China are on the up; so maybe they will be adding Citroen in the future - though I take the point that this will probably just be available...

It also the model that Foxwell had to replace because the hardware could not support their own software upgrades. The reality is that if all you are using it for is a LR then either will be fine, but the 520 will be a bit slower........and I still use a Hawkeye Total on my D2 for anything...

Do buy the Foxwell, but go for the latest model NT530 and buy direct from Foxwell. Currently only £120.

Thinking about it, if you can get hold of a Nanocom or Hawkeye you could try re-programming the fob.......an get another one asap.

It sounds to me as if the vehicle is immobilised due to a faulty fob. If you can connect a diagnostic tool like Nanocom or Hawkeye you should be able to make passive immobilisation inactive which should allow you to start it. Sierrafery is an absolute guru on this stuff, I strongly recommend...

LWB will be better than SWB. If I was looking for a LR specifically for towing then self leveling suspension (air) would be high on my list of desirable features. If you are looking at around £7K then I would favour an immaculate P38 or reasonable L322 before a scrappy Defender.

Jamesmartin makes a really important point. If you are fitting the full T Box rather than just adjusting the gearing to 1.2 then make sure it has a Centre Diff Lock otherwise your posh Defender will get stuck if even one wheel loses traction. You may not offroad much, but this will also affect...

What diagnostic tool are you using? The TD5 is not OBDII compliant so the common ones will not work and if you can get anything at all, will give erroneous results. Have you tried bump starting it? The reason I ask is that some starter motor faults can give enough electromagnetic interference...
