According to rave 96. recently i fitted an oversize sport radiator and i am overcooling.temp gauge sits bang in the middle as it used to with standard rad nano showing between 90 and 96.with the new rad gauge in the middle i get 68 on nanocom.towed my caravan 140+ miles and got readings of 78 to 86.

Dont trust temp gauge.check trmp with nanocom

You will do a better job bleeding with a new master cylinder and a new push rod for your new slave cylinder.

Got em on mine with 2"lift and the drive is really good but i have springs all round.had 20"on my previous discovery with airbags and it wallowed all over the show.

Nice looking motor.fitted mine earlier this year,car so much nicer to drive.i had the heavy duty springs on the back as i tow a caravan.big difference now towing with the old gear removed.going for a body lift soon.

Thats the problem i had.derby performance hoses made me an extra long one.then again if yours is new tell them to send one at least 70mm longer.

There was a chap on ebay that made chassis legs that went over half the cars length.will see if i can find.

I use a length of hose through the engine bay.put end in filler hole,use funnel in tother end.measure out what you need and pour in through funnel.never over filled or spilt.

Yes.

Try the air bleed valve.its on the fuel filter head,its the rear outer pipe connection.its about a tenner for a new one.they have a very fine membrane inside.if its cacked up or been removed it wont help your situation.

Best to also change the pushrod if changing slave cylinder.
