    The thing with salt is every time you wash it off you are reactivating it and give it a fresh surface to work on. I found it better to spray some sort of oily barrier on at the beginning of winter(pound shop maintenance spray or light sray grease worked well) and keep respraying until the salts...

    Why not use a heavy relay close to the battery and a thin guage wire running to a small switch in the cab? Yes that means you would need a permanent circuit of pos and neg to the switch but it's a lot easier and cheaper

    Front or rear? Rivnuts and bolts for the top of my fronts and P clips (held by Rivnuts and bolts) for the bottoms, so they pivot out of the way when changing bulbs
