Why not do a flat bed or pick up with a fifth wheel or shoe on the bed instead?

If you just want to lift the wheels get a bottle jack with the cradle on top from a disco or sprinter van etc and use it under the axle

One of the handiest but scariest tools you can use and if you ain't a little scared you're stooopid. And as said if it's for changing wheels get a bottle jack with a cradle on top, hi lifts are terrible for that job as you'll be jacking the body up for ages before the wheel comes of the floor.

Am I missing something? Why not just reuse that fitting with a new pipe?

It's pretty much what they(dehumidifier) are for ;) damp yes wet not really. A stove will dry it out well and give a nice work space. How big is it?

You got space for a small log burner/stove? Buy a dehumidifier .

They say the fume curtain doesn't work with the bikini top ......that doesn't mean it can't be made to work, just doesn't work straight out of the box, it just depends on how much you want to chance it. Did they explain why or in what way it won't work?

I've got a standard bonnet that I was going to fit a spare wheel to if you are interested in a swap?

Personally for general use I like the beam torsion type torque wrench, if you get a clicky type you need to look after it, turn it down after use and check it's showing the correct torque regularly. I've seen cheap or badly maintained ones go very badly wrong.

Yes. Do away with the rear bolts holding the seat squab on and you can use the front two to hold it in place and you can get to them when the seats are bolted in. Personally I'd probably make some studs or hooks out of longer bolts with the heads cut off just to locate the rear into the holes...

Removal yes but if it "accidentally" got "blocked" well nobody would know :)
