As others have said, you'll be fine, a bit different perhaps but if your still vertical it's a winner.
Last xmas I was told I had cancer of the windpipe, having a final scan this xmas eve. The radiation treatment is a bummer in your area, affects your ability to swallow and all sorts of other...
Like others I made up my own for both Buttercup and my 200Tdi 90. Oversized cabling right back to battery with quality fuses and relays throughout, protected with convoluted sleeving.
It cost more than those on sale on tinternet but I made sure I had enough wire to route it where I wanted it...
I have used a Rainex kit I bought off Amazon in 2017, very good and once you get used to it quite easy to use. I had loads of chips on my 90 and on Buttercup, now to be honest it is as though they had never been there, never notice them any more, and passed the French CT with no comment.
Sorry if I have the wrong end of the stick, I thought you were saying that you had to cut the plastic mountings that were originally used to fix the fan to your radiator, replacing these with tie wraps around the fins in the rad instead. This to me means the tie wraps are holding only to the...
I put some led's on Buttercup, but only on the front sidelights and the reversing lights, both of which are fine and a vast improvement.
There is no way I'd be faffing about with indicators or brake lights though.
Haven't done anything to it today other than drive it.
So half an hour trip to a mates who is helping me with some typical French bureaucracy because I really do need a responsible adult with me when it comes to on line form filling. Took everything that could possibly be needed to be scanned...
Security on an RV is not so much of a problem, when the slide out is activated you are actually still IN it, whereas a slide out drawer or cabinet may be vulnerable to theft from the outside even while you sleep on the inside.
Plus one for the hand wash. I have no experience of living in those temperatures, but I have experience of hand washing where a shower is not possible due to medical circumstances. If you are organised hand washing will be perfectly fine, and economical on water use.
Sorry for being so negative but,,,,,,,,,,,
how will you seal the outers when shut ?
how will you seal the slide outs when open ? for water and security ?
I can think of plenty of problems, not many (any) solutions.
General check over on my 200Tdi 90, adjusted the handbrake up a bit, checked all UJ's / track rod ends / bearings, all good except the drop arm was slightly loose on the splines !! (exactly the same as on my RRC the other day!!) tightened up and all good.
Swapped the wheels around to even out...
If I can post a link then some of this might be usefull.

As it was a nice day I had a bit of a look round Buttercup, I was a little suspicious that she had started to wander a little on the motorway last time out. Front wheels off the ground one at a time, no steering play, no bearing play. Rear wheels off the ground and very slight bearing play on...
Then buy old but in the best condition you can find for your budget.
My preference (cos I have one) would be a 200Tdi 90. Simple mechanics, no complicated electronics, reasonable economy, and an engine that will go on forever.
My 90 is mostly used on road as my daily hack, but it does go off road fairly often and that is a problem. The soil around here is very sandy and very aggresive, I probably change UJ's every 2 years or so..............GKN all the time.
