The freelander 3 is basically a car, it is ok. Hybrid is good on fuel, but no soul. No curry hook. Feels a little cramped inside. No idea on off road ability as the owner has not tried it. Handles ok, but rolls more than my Discovery .

This is why a lot of us are staying D1 or D2 despite D3 and D4 being such good cars.

Need an under bonnet photo. They are not unreliable as such but need good maintenance . If you get it drive around for a few weeks and sort out any issue. Biggest risk is not mechanical reliability, but other things like perishing hoses.

Oh sorry. Those switches are common 4.5Newton switches, i used to repair fobs for owners groups, done hundreds. So if i can't fix them, new fob time. They all in Europe use 433920hz of khz not sure which. A radio scanner will pick it up. Btw language not IQ, you are not stupid , we forget...

Last thing will be to remove battery holder and check underneath. I have repaired over the years a few hundred fobs, 3 failures in total. One is mine. I must have bought at least 500 if those 4.5N switches.
