    P38 EAS issues airloss/self selecting height/height hunting

Update: The factory Dunlop diaphragm rebuild kit arrived this morning. It was no doubt much higher quality than the first aftermarket one that I had installed. The aftermarket one barely created a seal between the valve body and nearly fell out with gravity upon inspection..And the new one I...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Bmw timing chains are not bullet proof..But you unfortunately found out the hard way...commonly the more performance motors can stretch/snap them especially with high miles..S62 and variants had timing chain issues and more commonly the guides and tensioners get neglected then it’s only a matter...

    Battery woes

Do auto parts stores over there have load testers? Over here, almost every auto parts store has a machine that you can hook up your battery to and itll tell you if its good or bad, almost instantly. Ive had batteries that have shown similar symptoms to yours, and it would show plenty of voltage...

    P38 EAS issues airloss/self selecting height/height hunting

Update: All corners are lower in the morning once again..the fronts were down a lot but I forgot to remove the delay timer last night so maybe she self adjusted to that position. Also something isnt working correctly. I ran through the tests again in Wammers technical article. I definitely...

    P38 EAS issues airloss/self selecting height/height hunting

Shes a 98' with front and rear TC..the tires are 265/75/16 I didnt want to go too wide because I wanted to be able to turn :D. Shes been working really nice and has a nice footprint when aired down. I think bedliner and stonechip would be the same stuff. Bedliner is the stuff they spray in a...

    P38 EAS issues airloss/self selecting height/height hunting

Haha It had been almost two years since she had her last wash! And she only got a wash because I wanted to assess the true extent of the damage to the exterior over the years. So I made sure to get a nice shot of her before she gets all dirty again...She usually likes it dirty...

    P38 EAS issues airloss/self selecting height/height hunting

I know that she leaks a little. I believe the only location of the the leak is in the compression joint to my gauge fitting for my pressure gauge. Iam waiting to fix it until I decide whether or not I want the gauge inside the cabin or in the engine bay.. Otherwise she rises just fine from...

    P38 EAS issues airloss/self selecting height/height hunting

This morning she sat almost perfectly level and the fronts have actually lost some air for once. Every corner was down about 20mm in 12hours. And she cycled the compressor only once while filling the tank from 70psi-full.:) Lets hope that it continues to stay this way. Im guessing that an...

    P38 EAS issues airloss/self selecting height/height hunting

Yeah I was wondering about that too...I had thought that I could do something to make it play nice but I dont know if thats possible now..Ill just have to wait and see if Gen3s are in the future. And she handles just fine off-road:D...I could build an old Jeep like alot of people over here, but...

    P38 EAS issues airloss/self selecting height/height hunting

Yup she always rises just fine in the morning. I can go all the way up to wade height instantly from access right after startup.. During the day today I was just playing with the switch until the PSI drops below 80-100psi because thats usually when she dances a lot with the compressor...

    P38 EAS issues airloss/self selecting height/height hunting

I have some standard height Bilsteins now and once I sort this EAS out I have some extended Terrafirmas waiting to be installed. And I believe my tires are just under 32" so I know what you mean especially about the extra clearance.. I was hoping to get into some 33s or 34s with Gen3s but I...

    P38 EAS issues airloss/self selecting height/height hunting

No real update today besides shes being a little moody as usual. But at least now shes on the nicer side of things. Everything has been working really well today..After depleting the tank a few times throughout the day, she has danced only a few times, like maybe only 3 or 4 times.. When...
